Job Description

As a Server FW Testing Engineer, our primary role will involve leveraging existing automation tools to conduct thorough testing across multiple platforms. We will also be identifying and resolving errors within the automation framework as well as the server system. Moreover, we will play a pivotal role in expanding the scope of automation tests to encompass new platforms, discovering new bugs and issues as well as proactive troubleshooting.

Role and Responsibility:

• Utilize the available automation framework to enhance the quality of Server BIOS and BMC through effective testing.

• Identify and promptly communicate automation report errors to Automation or FW engineers, actively participating in the resolution process.

• Collaborate closely with Test Case Owners to clarify and resolve any ambiguity present in test cases, ensuring accurate and comprehensive testing.

• Conduct manual execution of new UEFI/BMC features before they are automated, ensuring their functionality and stability.

• Adapt and modify the automation framework modules to support new projects and make necessary adjustments to the behavior of existing test cases.

• Create and improve the test cases. Manage test case update, reffering the latest SPEC, notifying related owner.

• Debug firmware issues. Isolate issues to find out possible root causes.
