Description

The Role:

A Gaming Firmware Engineer is responsible for defining, implementing and testing the LED indication module on the gaming devices.

  • Specify, design, and implement the LED indication module as the intuitive UI for the next wave of productivity, gaming, mobility products and related platforms
  • Work with system architect, product marketing and UX team to collect the LED indication requirements and convert the requirements to technical system requirement spec.
  • Create the system flow and interface of the LED indication module according to the requirement spec.
  • Prototype and show your ideas
  • Design and implement the LED indication module (state machine, system flow, module interfaces)
  • Verification of implemented firmware
  • Validate your work, write production code, and automated tests
  • Engage with colleagues in a multi-sites & multicultural environment (US, Switzerland, Taiwan)

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Fluent in embedded firmware in C/C++ including test and debug
  • Software system level design experience (modularized design, state machine, system diagram, flow chart tools)
  • Practically minded with strong problem solving skills
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Fluent spoken & written English

Education

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
