Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working with software development in C/C++.
  • 3 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
  • Experience in kernel development, power management, performance tuning, display driver/HAL, or peripheral drivers on Android systems.
  • Experience working with hardware designers/reading schematics.
  • Experience in Linux device drivers, Linux kernel modules, or FreeRTOS drivers/modules.
  • Excellent technical documentation and verbal/written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

You will develop the whole software stack for future devices, ranging from cutting-edge SoC bring-up to platform.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the display and touch system software for Google devices.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the software features on devices.
  • Optimize and improve software quality, power consumption, and system performance.
  • Develop validation tools and test cases to verify hardware/software functionality.
