Job description

Due to our continued growth & success, Sarens Taiwan has an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan. As a Finance Manager at Sarens Taiwan, you will be responsible for accounting and invoicing the services of Sarens to new and existing customers according to sales.

Your duties and responsibilities will include :

  • Handle a full set of accounts and undertake month-end closing entries.
  • Handle data entry and responsible for day-to-day accounting recording function.
  • Ensure all accounting records and reporting are done on a timely and accurate basis.
  • To prepare and monitor financial activities (AR & AP) of the company.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation and other account reconciliation.
  • Matches supplier invoices to authorized purchase orders and proofs of receipt.
  • Follows authorization scheme to verify approval for payments.
  • Processes all supplier invoices, including supplier discounts, into the ERP system in a correct and punctual manner.
  • Able to coordinate with other departments on preparing accounting documents.
  • To maintain proper filing system and ensure traceability of documents.
  • Makes in due time supplier – and other cash and bank – payment proposals for the approved invoices.
  • Updates and maintains supplier master data and files, including supplier credits.
  • Produces regular and accurate reports in accordance with the Group standards and local legal requirements, in order to keep management informed.
  • Handles all supplier requests and questions with regard to payments.
  • Follows up on agreements made with suppliers (e.g. on terms of payment).
  • Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.

Profile

  • Proficient in English and Mandarin.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
