Amphenol LTW (ALTW) is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Field Application Engineer specializing in electrical and electronic connectors to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing guidance and support in the selection, application, and integration of electrical and electronic connectors.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable connector solutions based on technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer facilities to assess their connector needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Assist customers in the design and development of connector systems, including schematic review, layout recommendations, and signal integrity analysis.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers, highlighting the features, benefits, and proper usage of our connector solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to relay customer feedback, identify opportunities for product improvement, and contribute to the development of new connector solutions.
  • Provide technical support during the entire product lifecycle, including pre-sales support, post-sales installation assistance, and ongoing troubleshooting.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in electrical and electronic connector applications to provide expert advice to customers.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Field Application Engineer or in a customer-facing technical role within the electrical and electronic connector industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and connector technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and provide tailored solutions based on technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and electrical simulation tools for reviewing customer designs and conducting basic analysis.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site support and meetings (travel requirements may vary).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Intermediate level of English and Chinese language preferred.
