What You Will Do In Your Role

Primary Purpose

身為研發中心的製造整合工程師(MIE)，我們的責任是為莫仕連接器相關產品，開發製程與研擬製造策略

To develop manufacturing and process strategy for High-Performance Connector Assembly products which are implemented in data center, sever, network and storage industry.

Duties And Responsibilities

• 在瞭解市場需求後，領導國際團隊開發新產品的製程。我們的目標是生產出符合國際規範並超出客戶期待的產品
• 為客戶提供客製化的生產技術支援。我們要與產品管理與業務行銷單位協作為客戶解決製程上的議題
• 需要時常參與跨國與跨部門的技術研討會
• 當公司在研發新產品時，我們要研擬相對應的製造策略去滿足客戶要求的產能、品質、交期與成本
• 參與跨國團隊的產品開發流程與主持製造可行性評估的會議
• 於產品開發初期主導原型產品的製作去驗證新設計或新技術以降低未來量產時的風險
• 與工廠與研發中心的製程、模具和自動化部門合作，確保新產品開發如期完成
• 與全球莫仕和供應商的設備工程部門合作，確保成功的導入新產品的製程與設備
• 協助莫仕在全球的工廠以更高的效率和品質生產
• 學習與運用新的概念與方法優化我們的製程能力和生產行為
• 如期完成指派任務
• 定期與主管檢視專案進度與職涯規劃
• 須配合海外出差
• To ensure the development of all manufacturing processes to support new product development and modifications of existing products to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Provide technical support to marketing, sales and outside customers for issues that have been escalated, highly complex and/or atypical where necessary
• Provide and share technical information between teams within group and plants to assure “best practices” are embraced and implemented globally
• Develop manufacturing strategies for new products and drive the tooling development process to meet customer’s expectations of capacity, quality, lead-time and optimal cost
• Design the product development process ensuring robust product design and manufacturability in low and high volumes. Participate in or may lead design reviews and design for manufacture meetings globally
• Identify and lead any prototype work required in early design stage to verify use of new technology or concepts in product or process design to reduce risk and improve profitability.
• Work with Die, Mold and Automation Process Engineers in selecting and managing internal and external suppliers to ensure successful project completion through concept, design, build, debug and qualification
• Working with respective tooling engineers to ensure successful transfer of all tooling processes and equipment to NPI and manufacturing plants
• Support plant projects to improve cost and quality
• Utilize concepts and methods to optimize manufacturing processes and daily activities
• Perform related duties as assigned by management
• Review the status of projects and evaluate RRE’s activities and performance by discussing appropriate advice, training and guidance
• International travel will be required to support installation and production activities

Requirements

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor’s degree of Engineering

Preferred: PHD or Master’s degree of Engineering

Work Related Experience

基本要求經歷: 2年以上來自傳產、科技產業製程或自動化產線的相關經驗

優先考慮: 3年以上來自連接器產業，有做過製程、金屬沖壓、塑膠射出、電鍍或自動化部門

Required: 2 years or above of manufacturing process or automation experience

Preferred: 3 years or above experience of manufacturing process, stamping, molding, plating or automation in connector industry

What Will Put You Ahead

SKILLS Required

• 具備製程、金屬沖壓、塑膠射出、電鍍或自動化的專業知識
• 領導團隊完成製造可行性評估與決策
• 研擬製造策略，規劃產線、成本、時間與產能
• 會操作 3D 繪圖軟體
• 具備專案管理的知識
• 相當於多益600分的英語能力，能用英文開會和書信往來
• 個性開朗、善於溝通並且能承受壓力
• Technical expertise of manufacturing process, stamping, molding, plating or automation.
• Organize DFM, PFMEA and make sound decisions
• Develop manufacturing strategy and evaluate production line, BOM cost, lead time and capacity to meet market demand
• 3D drawing software. Experience reading and interpreting product, tool detail and assembly drawings
• Knowledge of project management
• Good English written and verbal skills for clear and concise communication
• Behavior with good manner, well communication skill and work under pressure

• Support company specific standards such as TS16949, ISO9001, TQM, Six Sigma initiatives. Drive GLSS efforts as a champion for our team for both Lean/DMAIC projects and 6S efforts
• Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures
