  • Implement equipment maintenance and urgent troubleshooting for Electrical & Instrument (E&I) equipment and process control system to maintain plant’s production operations.
  • Develop E&I equipment maintenance strategy and fulfill Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan.
  • Analyze equipment failure cause by Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or other superior performance analysis tool to improve equipment performance reliability.
  • Create equipment’s specification for E&I equipment purchase and installation.
  • Procure maintenance equipment and materials ; manage equipment asset and spare parts.
  • Act as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of E&I technology to provide expertise on relevant improvement.
  • Evaluate suitable supplier/contractor for maintenance equipment & materials purchase and contractor engineering service.
  • Apply for safety work permit and manage contractor’s construction for ensuring safety and quality.
  • Support plant’s safety and continuous improvement.
Value added:Technical discipline expertise and maintenance technology application in E&I engineering, which help the plant to effectively execute E&I equipment installation and maintenance, equipment failure cause analysis and diagnosis, regular equipment calibration and electrical equipment inspection for plant’s production operations, and value added to the plant’s equipment maintenance improvement, maintenance spare parts management, contractor resources evaluation and contractor management, maintenance safety activities. The function in the position is to demonstrate a variety of values in plant’s safety, production operations and continuous improvement.Contribution context: team memberWork relations:Internal: Maintenance, Production, Project, SHE, QualityExternal: Suppliers and ContractorsQualifications:
  • Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, control engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant technical fields of engineering and science.
  • Knowledge in electrical and instrument technology, process control system, and relevant maintenance technical disciplines.
  • Relevant industry experience such as petrochemical or chemical industry, utility and energy industry, and manufacturing factory is preferred.
  • Experience in installation and maintenance of electrical & instrument equipment, process control system.
  • Experience in process control system programming, process instrument control loop check and calibration.
  • Hands-on experience on process control system architecture and programming of PLC and DCS control technology, process instrument control loop check is a great plus.
  • Computer literate and experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Auto CAD.
  • Must be a team player who is able to understand organizational objective, take effective communication and action in responding requirements of customers (co-workers) & tasks.
  • Good speaking and writing skill in English and Mandarin is a plus.
