Our vertical integrated production facility of Aalberts IPS in Taiwan is a leading competence centre for Groove Technology. Besides this they also sell a complete package of valves and pipes to their end markets supported with the strong product brand name Shurjoint.

We want to grow the business in the coming years, through accelerating the sales of the different product lines in the selected verticals. To make this happen we need am efficient and excellent distribution process.

your challenge

In the near future we will need to transfer our warehouse of finished goods to a new location. It will be your responsibility to determine the setup of the lay out of this new location and to transfer the stock to this new warehouse. Products produced in our manufacturing sites in Taiwan (Kaohsiung) and China (Kunshan) will be shipped to this DC and from there distributed to our worldwide customers.

We are looking for a plant director with P&L responsibility for this new distribution centre. To ensure cost leadership you optimise the supply chain and you constantly strive for an efficient processes. You maximise supply chain efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the demands of sales and manufacturing in an international surrounding. You take ownership to realise a high quality service and delivery performance to our customers (on time in full).

As Plant Director you are a member of the busines team of Aalberts integrated piping systems APAC and you report to the CEO. Tasks

• World class operation warehouse

• Inventory management

• Start | Set-up | Engineer new DC & Lay out

• P&L responsible for the DC

• Optimise the supply chain based on KPI’s

• Ensure delivery performance (OTIF)

• Promote and coordinate operational excellence

• Set goals for performance and growth

• Oversee and manage all daily operations

• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

• Manage relationships with partners/vendors
