Overview Of The Role

The Director and Country Head for Taiwan, Professional Services is responsible for the oversight and successful delivery of all Company software implementations and consulting assignments in Taiwan. The role supports the Vice President, and Head of APAC Professional Services and works closely with the Taiwan Sales Team, and Global Professional Services teams. In addition to ensuring quality services delivery, this role is responsible for the recruitment, supervision and development of a team of functional and technical consultants, project managers and line managers skilled in all products, related technologies, industry best practices, consulting, and project management techniques. This role is responsible for ensuring his Taiwan based Delivery team has well-defined roles, meaningful performance management and feedback, professional development, training, mentorship, and an opportunity to develop professional relationships with their peers and management.

Knowledge, Experience And Technical Skill Requirements
  • Prior leadership role in a Profession Services organization with over 20+ years of software implementation and consulting experience
  • Must have a prior role of Head of Professional Services Or Head of a Practice Area/Vertical, with P&L responsibilities of the group
  • Strong domain expertise in Retail Banking is required.
  • Strong Experience as Engagement Manager or Program Manager for large software implementations in the Retail Banks
  • Domain expertise in Compliance (AML, name screening, KYC etc) would be an advantage.
  • Ability to lead and/or support the formal contracting process through participation with negotiations, legal review, and internal process and workflow management.
  • Leads by example. Strong work ethic, teamwork skills and ability to be self-directed and resourceful.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Analytical and creative problem solving skills, questioning and feedback skills.
  • Enjoys being the “Coach”. Help team members achieve and exceed their goals.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills (in English and Chinese) along with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
