The counsel will work with their business operations clients(internal customers) to achieve operational excellence, ensure compliance with laws and regulations; and consider legal issues/identify the legal risk and move strategic deals through to completion. In addition, the counsel will also assist in managing patent dispute cases.

Job Description:

1. Based on internal customers’ need to structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology, distribution, licensing and marketing contracts

2. Providing ongoing legal advice in a wide range of areas, such as intellectual property, healthcare, open source software, and regulatory compliance

3. Providing legal support for product or services

4. Serving as lead counsel and directly advising business clients on strategic deals

5. Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries

6. Providing assistance in patent infringement litigations, patent licensing projects, including reviewing and drafting legal document (such as Non-Disclosure Agreement, patent license agreement, Common interests agreement, etc.); coordinating patent dispute cases and managing external counsels and budget
