Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

The Security, Risk & Compliance team is seeking a Compliance Risk Manager with excellent project management, organization and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to foster cooperation and trust across varying groups and management levels both internal and, external. The Compliance Risk Manager must have the ability to listen, put informative into context of our cloud security and risk architecture controls and advise on options for new controls, interpretation of existing control requirements and remediation by suppliers. and influence others. This role requires working with and understanding the needs of multiple Microsoft and supplier teams, conveying and educating compliance requirements to multiple stakeholders, and influencing all in this ecosystem.

This position will drive the operational cadence of third-party supplier assessments in the Cloud Supply Chain. The Compliance Risk Manager will influence and develop relationships with the supplier base, as well as assess, advise and agree on mitigation of risk. They will coordinate with independent assessors, and work with key stakeholders to determine supplier criticality, prioritization of assessments and drive assessment completion

Responsibilities
  • Proactively assess and identify supplier risks and vulnerabilities to the Cloud supply chain and drive compliance and mitigation of those security and resiliency risks.
  • Proactive relationship management with, and between suppliers, independent assessors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collect and prioritize information appropriately to articulate and provide insight into specific risks, as well as identify possible trends throughout the supply chain.
  • Assimilate information from multiple sources and identify key drivers, variables, trends, and business scenarios to inform business risk decisions.
  • Strategize and prioritize comprehensive protections and mitigation strategies that align to stakeholder, risk, security, compliance, and business priorities.
  • Develop, build and implement long-term, cross-business solutions that incorporate impact and best practices to mitigate risk.
  • Long term analysis of supplier compliance and monitoring of remediation plans to measure control effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain engagement with programs owners driving critical cross-function initiatives.
  • Actively support third-party supplier assessments that drive compliance and mitigate security and resiliency risks.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, Compliance Audit, Fraud, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Financial/Operational Audit, Data Management, Fraud, Risk Management or, a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of supply chain management
  • Ability to adapt and change with the needs of the organization and business
  • Capacity to lead change through ambiguity with creative solutions
  • Demonstrated use of business data to identify and quantify risks and prioritize remediation and mitigation
  • Good communicator
