We are looking for an energetic and organised individual with at least 1 year prior experience in community coordination or relevant experience in events and travel planning to join our Community team as Community Executive.ResponsibilitiesThe Community Executive (CE) will assist complex community projects and events from early ideation to completion and phase-out. You will collaborate with teams to develop and foster important cross-department initiatives, and ensure projects and events adhere to schedules and are equipped to succeed.The CE will report to the Head of Community and will work in close collaboration with our Head of Professional Learning, Event Managers & Marketing to craft and refine our community engagement strategies, to support community development through events. In this interdisciplinary role, the CE will coordinate with Account Management & Customer Success teams to ensure our wider community initiatives support and align with their activities. The CE will also work with Finance & People Operations to manage community data.MANDATE & OBJECTIVESProject Execution
  • Coordinate community projects, communicating cross-department for information collection
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support the preparation of engaging content for social media, email marketing and cross-site promotions.
  • Assist on complex community projects from early ideation to completion and phase-out
  • Track progress of community projects such as events, content, courses and regional outreach
Community Travel & Logistics
  • Research and assist in the travel arrangements, including transportation, lodging, and activities for S&S and community team for in-person outreach and events.
  • Create detailed itineraries and schedules for travel, school visits and community events.
  • Provide support, including managing logistics and equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other service providers to ensure smooth execution of travel and events
Community Coordination
  • Data quality checks and updating incorrect data on internal systems and other community-related platforms
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure contracts and payment systems are in place
  • Coordinate with community members with onboarding, payroll and offboarding
  • Ensure community payroll and account records are accurate and up to date
Other Tasks may include, but are not limited to
  • Work outside of normal business hours to accommodate international customers or internal team meetings when needed and mutually agreed upon
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for effective promotion of courses and events, and surfacing of content.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritise as necessary to accommodate customer and product needs
  • Contribute to the overall mission of Faria, drive innovation of our products, and further our relationships with our community
A Normal WeekOver the course of a normal week, you would have:
  • Planned upcoming events
  • Connected with the Success, Events and Account Management teams to review needs and requirements
  • Responded to 30-50 progress tracking tickets.
  • Responded to 50 emails.
  • Attended 5 - 10 internal meetings and took minutes.
  • Summarised daily progress & set next-action-items for the team on community tasks

  • Number of scheduled events and attendance rates
  • Community satisfaction and engagement ratings
  • Quality of campaigns produced
  • Quality of itineraries prepared.
  • Delivered to confirmed timelines
