Job Description

• Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and COO, providing insightful analysis and recommendations, driving business growth, supporting in setting business objectives, defining necessary actions/initiatives, implementing strategies, and ensuring successful execution of business plans.
• Monitor and drive financial performance against business objectives and commitments with investors. Implement action plans to improve financial performance where necessary, detailing risks and opportunities for achievement. Proactively capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks through strategic financial leadership.
• Identify and engage with potential investors and stakeholders, presenting compelling financial strategies and opportunities, thereby contributing to the company’s growth and enhancing shareholder value.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the finance & accounting team to ensure effective, consistent implementation of the organization’s strategies and systems. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and a deeper understanding of how finance functions drive corporate success.
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan and South East Asia’s local and statutory financial reporting and tax regulations, staying current with regulatory changes, and guiding the organization in adapting to these changes.
  

The Successful Applicant

• Speedy in action, being flexible to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
• Self-motivated, keen to take on responsibility and contribute to the wider development of the business Essential Skills Required/ What skills are required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance & accounting field, with at least 5 years in role of head of finance or CFO within companies with management complexity or experience with start-up.
• Extensive experience in IFRS, legal, tax, and corporate matters with Taiwanese or South East Asia markets.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with ex/internal stakeholders and engaging strong partnerships.
• Solid knowledge and management skill of controlling cycle..
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions and create strategic plans to support the business
• Mandarin and English oral & written communication skills are must requirement
