Camera Image Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Manage final image quality tuning of mobile phone camera

* Set up required tests for validating image tuning

* Commercialize algorithms for the products

* Engage with different sensor and module vendors and incorporate the new technology into the products

* Work with different SOC vendors or internal R&D to integrate the algorithms onto the platforms

Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

* 3 years of experience in image quality tuning for consumer cameras (i.e. auto-white balance, auto-focus, auto-exposure, auto-flicker detection/correction, and auto-scene detection)

* Experience in imaging pipeline and camera system, from lens to final image

Preferred qualifications:

* Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field

* Experience with ISP algorithms

* Experience with C and C++

* Python or MATLAB coding experience

* Numerical image analysis experience
