Description
  • Purpose of this Position:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a subject matter expert sales for the assigned VM: Mining (vertical market) and Australia assigned Territory (Western Australia), and is the key business development interface between the Moxa ANZ team (Australia and New Zealand) and Moxa HQ.

The BDM will identify and develop business opportunities, including growth engines, potential key customer for the assigned region/market by communicating value propositions to customers.

The BDM will coordinate all necessary Moxa resources to achieve agreed upon regional/market targets by successfully executing the agreed business plan.

The BDM will promote Moxa’s total solution, develop customer relationships, establish reference sites, define the industry value chain, and provide voice of the customer and market information for assessing competitors and opportunities.
  • Major Areas of Responsibility:
  • Achieve business development targets and goals for the assigned VM/Territory business by successfully executing the agreed business plan.
  • Develop the right business model for target markets through understanding the markets, technology trends, emerging standards, customer needs, and the competition. Establish reference sites and success stories per market segment. Frequent direct customer meetings are required to deliver solid results.
  • Provide comprehensive solutions to ensure rapid entry into target markets. Adapt and set product positioning and value propositions for SBU (Strategic business unit) products to meet local market needs. To stimulate business growth, proactively seek new industrial needs to add new selling points for the company’s solutions and/or services.
  • Responsible for training channel personnel on Moxa’s solutions for targeted vertical markets, including market knowledge and applications.
  • Responsible for coordinating the assigned VM with different state sales/channel to achieve the VM target.
Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Education:
Bachelor degree above with business related major.

Related engineering degree is plus.
  • Experience:
2-4 years of working experiences .
  • Language:
Fluency in written and verbal English communication is a must.

(D) Travel

Long stay in Australia (below 6 months in a year) before setting up branch office.
