About Us

Your Day

• Experimentation: Lead the experimentation analytics to drive product design and optimization for Yahoo’s affiliate commerce business across search, content, and mail properties. Establish best practices for A/B testing processes. Collaborate with affiliate commerce product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to develop research and experimentation programs for product development.
• Business and product opportunity exploration: Identify and manage projects that drive key business initiatives to deliver strategic goals for affiliate commerce business. Understand the underlying data systems and schemas that can inform these measurements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-market and cross-functional partner teams to conduct and drive action plans.
• Data Investigation & Troubleshooting: Crack complex business and analytical problems. In particular, experience in working with large data sets, developing data models/schemas, and identifying and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
  
  

Requirements

• BS in a quantitative field or equivalent experience is required. MS/MBA is preferred.
• 6+ years experience in business analytics, data analytics, or business intelligence. Experience in developing and executing user growth strategies is preferred. Experience in leading analyses end-to-end is also a plus, including scoping requirements, developing analytics plans, and communicating insights.
• 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests.
• Domain expertise in affiliate commerce business or e-Commerce desired.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and assessing business impact.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work proactively, and have an intellectual curiosity with an appetite to learn.
• Proficiency in data processing using SQL, R, Python, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Fluency in English is required.
