Summary

Join us on our mission to enable the greenest high-performance and high-efficiency servers in the IT industry. In this position, you will be a leader who works with our BIOS team to carry out the design, the documentation, the implementation, and the validation for BIOS of new Supermicro server platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the UEFI BIOS development for Supermicro server products

• Evaluate BIOS design specifications on both the board level and the system level

• Control project schedules from design to production

• Define and implement lab validation plans to ensure product quality in functionality and reliability

• Work with BIOS vendors and technical subject matter experts (IHV) to enable new feature sets

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in low-level software development or relevant work experience in BIOS QA

• 5+ years of experience with Legacy/UEFI BIOS code

• Strong background in software design with C, C++ and/or Assembly is a plus

• Solid understanding of PC hardware architectures, BIOS, and Linux is required

• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

• Must be a team player, have a passion for software development and have excellent verbal /written communication skills
