About the role…

Ally Pallet, an innovative start-up specializing in pallet rental, is seeking an Assistant Manager of Operation to work closely with the ALP Group (ALP/AT/ALS) to provide the total logistic solution. This role will focus on developing, designing, and improving the operation process to raise the efficiency of the operational performance, working closely with management and other functional teams to ensure successful business operations.

Job Responsibilities

What you will do...

  • Develop and improve standard operation processes in the company to improve daily operational efficiency
  • Plan and implement the management system for the pallet rental business
  • Design and improve the overall layout of the pallet depot for future expanding
  • Execute and monitor daily operations, collect and analyze operation performance/data to identify operational trends and potential improvement
  • Distribute resources from labor to equipment in the company to ensure the maximum utilization of resources
  • Purchase and implement the necessary equipment to improve the efficiency of the operation and success of the business
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with external vendors of equipment, suppliers of pallets, and the construction/implementation team to ensure the timely execution and supplies
  • Coordinate with other function teams within the ALP Group (ALP/AT/ALS) to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives

Essential and Functional Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the engineering field; an advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or construction industry; experience in on-site construction/operation/factory will be a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and Google Workspace; skill in AutoCAD and coding (JavaScript or Python) is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
