• The role is for an application engineer, who will be working in the DuPont Advanced Packaging Technologies (APT) Dielectric Application Integration Team located at the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
• This role will be aligned to a global materials engineering R&D team and work with application engineering teams within the global APT R&D organization to deliver improved integration of current products and assist in the development of innovative new products for our key customers in Taiwan.
• The role will provide technical support to the dielectric and bonding materials business, engaging with multiple key customers through material integration, application development, customer data requests, to resolve customer process, quality and integration challenges. Support will be completed in the new Taiwan Dielectric Materials Center of Excellence.
• Technical support will include product specification, application development, and troubleshooting/resolving challenges concerning the use of our products in application and customer integration flows.
• Operate Litho-related coating, patterning, characterization and reliability test tools + equipment to generate data packages for customer requests in collaboration with a global team of experts.
• Support laboratory management of R&D technologists serving customer needs with metallization product analytical workstreams.
• Provide demonstrations and training for customers (both internal and external) on APT products, including best known methods, application techniques, product properties and related advantages + disadvantages.
• Appropriate documentation and communication of experimental plans, data and conclusions with global R&D peers and customers will be critical for success.
• Combining and presenting share learnings and product/application knowledge will be essential part of this role. Such reports should distill complex ideas into clear results and proposals that influence internal and external audiences.
  
• Understand and follow appropriate EH&S standards, policies and procedures applicable to this job.
• Lead by example in the area of ethical and safety behaviors by promoting safe and ethical work habits.
  

【Qualifications】

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science with relevant 5 years above working experience for semiconductor technology.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English.
• Highly motivated and demonstrate ability to be well organized and focused for meeting demanding timelines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer project management and teamwork spirit.
• Experience and knowledge in lithographic-related and/or CMP processes will be a plus for any candidates.
