Role & Responsibilities

• Perform Taiwan equity research under the guidance of team lead
• Generate actionable investment ideas for our Taiwan equity team
• Timely update and comment on company and industry information
• Modelling company performance to provide financial forecast
• Develop corporate & industry insight based on publicly available information
• Sell investment idea to internal client, i.e. portfolio manager
• Ability to perform ESG research and act as internal/external ESG representative of AllianzGI Taiwan
• Coordinate with global sustainability team to align our sustainability investment effort
  
  

Memberships

• Qualification for investment management industry is required
  
  

Experience/ Knowledge/ Qualifications/ Skills

• Minimum 5-year experience in equity research
• Outstanding financial modelling and analytical skill
• Sound understanding of business model and industry dynamic
• Strong written and verbal command of English and Chinese
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to generalize complicated information and deliver clear cut message
• Quick and flexible learning ability with intellectual curiosity
• Proactive, open-minded, and with strong mental resilience
• An outstanding team worker with ability to work independently
• CFA qualification and ESG experience preferred
