As a fast-growing and well-funded startup company, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IC designer in the field of high current DC-DC converters and power switch circuits to join our dynamic engineering team.

The chosen candidate will design complex integrated circuits that include mixed signal, and analog circuits. The chosen candidate will have proven capability in designing analog blocks with CMOS, BICMOS, and BCD technologies for use in switching regulator systems and other power management functions. A deep understanding of analog design techniques in .18u and below IC process technologies is preferred. An understanding of packaging technologies and layout tradeoffs are also preferred.

The candidate must be able to work effectively in a small team environment. Must have a working knowledge of Mixed-Signal Cadence tools and parasitic parameter extraction. Analytical approach to problem solving is highly required. These are leading edge power technology products and provide challenging learning opportunities.

Responsibilities include both individual hands-on design and project management. Your tasks involve but are not limited to circuit design, simulation, layout supervision, verification, product debugging and characterization, ATE to bench correlation, documentation and assisting test and product engineers with taking IC’s to production.

Experience:

l Experienced in designing analog and mixed signal Integrated Circuits preferably in the field of DC-DC conversion, PoL or multiphase controllers.

l Experienced in wireless charging projects is a big plus.

l Understanding of analog circuit blocks and device physics.

l Proven experience in designing any of the following: amplifiers, oscillators, bandgap references, LDOs, DACs, ADCs, switched capacitor circuits, etc.

l Proven experience with switching regulator IC design with buck, boost SMPS topologies.

l Experience with multi-phase, Vcore is a Plus.

l Understanding of control systems
