Key Responsibilities
  • Accountability for the site operation, cost management, service delivery and front facing services at the client facilities.
  • Providing personal leadership and effective management of a wide range of activities for hard and soft services.
  • Ensuring improvements are achieved and maintained and a proper balance is achieved between responding to client requests and maintaining GWS high standards and cost effectiveness.
  • Leading site financial forecasting requirements. Drives compliant financial practices to ensure on time and compliant billing.
  • Managing a budget and own analysis of variations and action planning.
  • Driving enhancements to recurring spend actual (Labor/Sub/Materials, Optimize Self Perform utilization, Control Variable spend).
  • Driving initiatives to achieve/exceed budget expectations at the site.
  • Maintaining the work environment, practices and training to avoid accidents and hazards and contributes to a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensuring contingency plans are in place for emergencies. These include approved business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans etc.
  • Conducting incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis, Site Stand Downs and drive consequence Management for all incidents.
  • Inspiring and behaving with unquestioned integrity and in accordance with CBRE Ethics Policy.
  • Managing Life Cycle Assessment and Capital Planning Process.
  • Driving Operational control through Metrics/KPI Management.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation comparative against Area,Geo and Peer groups.
  • Delivering services based on contract scope of work with full understanding of the scope variances by site (e.g. client provided, 3rd party, self perform, LL, etc.)
  • Delivering applicable contract deliverables in accordance with prescribed frequencies.
  • Driving Supplier compliance and control
  • Developing multi-year spend profile for all commodities. Optimizes timing of order placement to ensure cost advantage.
  • Rigorously managing and assessing of supplier KPI’s
  • Conducting goal setting activities and performance reviews .
  • Managing personnel, including recruiting, talent development, succession planning, training, rewarding and taking disciplinary actions.
  • Working with Area Leader and Account team to identify and support Capital
  • Planning replacement projects
  • Identifying scope expansion opportunities through collaboration with area and account leadership
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive operations experience of facilities management or service delivery (possible specialist areas such as M&E, catering, security and cleaning).
  • Industry expertise such as Critical Environments, Pharma, Finance and Oil & Gas valued and preferred. Commercial and financial awareness.
  • People management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience of managing contracts, writing and operating to processes and procedures.
  • Numerate and PC literate.
  • CMMS experience (WO Management Process) preferred. May be required to possess a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications and Education:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Technical degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training. Prior Supervisory Management experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
  • CPE (Certified Plant Engineer) and/or CPMM (Certified Maintenance Manager) and/or OSHA 501 training, etc. preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.
REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
