Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Recommend process improvements for quality, yield, or cost improvement.
  • Worldwide manufacturing support for asset life, operational, and performance related issues. Support or lead troubleshooting efforts.
  • Support and lead plant engineering organizations in problem solving.
  • Support and lead emergencies, protect the asset & recover process from major upsets/issues.
  • Support and lead manufacturing capital expansions, startups and equipment repair worldwide as required.
  • Focus on building knowledge of the existing process and capabilities.
  • Engage in early-stage developments from Technology delivery group.
  • Documentation of improvements and process understanding.
Required Skills
  • Process excellence and Statistical skills – PCPD, Six Sigma, data analysis, KT and so on.
  • High requirement in English speaking and writing capability.
  • Data driven analysis.
