  • Provide support for financial accounting related matters for lines of business and control functions
  • Review activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, financial statements and regulatory reports
  • Gather and review data for purpose of local regulatory reporting, eg from the general ledger and various systems to ensure accuracy
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of financial control functions in accordance with the company’s internal control policies
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve Bank’s goals
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Regulatory Reporting and Accounting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
  • Good communication skills - Business level English written and verbal skills; Japanese N1/N2 preferred but not essential
  • Finance & Accounting Experience in the Financial Industry (preferable)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
