Job Overview:

As a Finance Manager, you will be reporting to Regional Finance Manager based in Hong Kong and responsible for managing our day-to-day finance & accounting operations of the Taiwan operation, streamlining the finance & accounting processes and providing very effective profit & loss and asset control/management with other teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of daily bookkeeping, management accounting and credit control work of our Taiwan manufacturing company with multiple sites.
  • Lead the month end closing activities to achieve timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ensure the accounting records and documentation in compliance with the local statutory requirement and company accounting policy.
  • Highlight current process weaknesses both in operational and internal control aspects, make recommendation for changes and execute.
  • Support the factory operations for KPI control and achievement.
  • Conduct investment return analysis, project monitoring and product costing reports for margin analysis.
  • Lead a small team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting or related discipline.
  • Qualified accountant, with qualification prefer to be acquired in Taiwan.
  • Good understanding of Taiwan local GAAP and tax laws.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant working experience with solid experience in managing an accounting team.
  • Sound manufacturing costing knowledge either gained from in house or audit experience.
  • Multi-national company experience is required.
  • Excellent command in written/spoken English and Chinese.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting ability on ERP platform is required.
  • Pro-active, responsible, cooperative and details oriented.
  • Solid experience in using standard ERP system. Experience in ERP implementation is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Excel skill.
