JR24709 External Manufacturing Engineer - Test and Failure Analysis

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical failure analysis for test failure components.
• Follow up with subcon or internal FA team to provide completed failure analysis conclusion of test failure components.
• Co-work with test program, hardware, product engineering team to stablish test infrastructure in subcon.
• Provide support in product proliferation or qualification of test activities in subcon.
• Drive continuous improvement projects in subcon test processes to improve yield, equipment/hardware maintenance, operational efficiency and productivity.
• Support QA line audit.
• Investigate and provide 8D report for test related issues escalated from internal or external customer.
• Manage changes (new material, new equipment, new process, subcon PCN)
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Good team player with good English communication skills
• Semiconductor industry experience and knowing basic semiconductor backend test and electrical failure analysis knowledge.
• Excellent software/program debugging skills. Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge and experience of UNIX command for test data log analysis.
• The ability to manage multiple issues and result oriented.
• Bonus Points: physical failure analysis knowledge, backend assembly process knowledge.
