What You’ll Do
As an Expert level C++ Software Engineer, you will be collaborating with outstanding UX designers, software architects, domain experts as well as industry-leading external partners to create innovative in-vehicle software solutions.
You are responsible for the successful creation of software solutions by participating in multiple aspects of software development including solution design, implementation, automation, and continuous delivery and integration.
- Responsible for application development and integration with C++, and/or Java, Kotlin.
- Work in a UX driven way.
- Use Agile methodologies to deliver innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Orchestrate the design, development and delivery of end-to-end applications that will delight drivers while shortening development cycles for carmakers.
- Act as a mentor and support the team lead to provide technical guidance.
Your C++ programming skills and engineering know-how are impressive; you are quality driven and can write high-quality code and develop reliable applications. Experience with Android app development, Java, Kotlin, embedded systems integration, or the Automotive industry would be a big plus.
You are an autonomous, self-starter with a can-do mentality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in software development, C++ coding combined with object-orientated software design abilities.
- 1-2 years of technical mentorship / leadership, passion of developing in-depth technical skills for career growth.
- Knowledgeable about Operating System concepts (Linux, Android), cross-platform development and unit test frameworks.
- A hands-on technical expert with cross-disciplinary collaboration skills. Proactive with a sense of urgency and ownership in results.
- Product quality and customer driven mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking and writing in English as the primary language at work.
- A second Asian language ability of Japanese or Korea would be a plus!
