Job Summary

Support project management of sustainability tasks for new product development and tier-1 supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow the Stage Gates Checklist to implement the sustainable product development & PKG requirements.
  • Support product teams to understand sustainability impacts throughout design and manufacturing process.
  • Engage stakeholders to promote ESG initiatives, build relationships, and drive sustainable product development.
  • Ability to identify and assess ESG risks, compliance management and opportunities across the organization and in the industry.
  • Support Data Collection & Validation from both vendors and internal teams to perform lifecycle assessments (LCA) to assess product impacts for different product types to get 3rd-party LCA verified smoothly.
  • Support Data Collection & Validation from both vendors and internal teams for both Sustainability Certifications (e.g. TCO, BIFMA, UL2809 and etc.) and Eco-Labelling on different product types.
  • Play as one of the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that align with industry best practices, world-wide ESG-related regulatory requirements and up-to-date trends.

    • Personal Skills Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental management, sustainability or related field, or equivalent 3 to 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related area with consumer/enterprise/industrial products.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), with expertise in Excel, PowerBI, and other data management software for analysis, modeling, and dashboarding.
    • Exceptional written English, fluent in spoken English is a PLUS.

    Technical Skills Requirements

    • Experience in product sustainability and managing related projects.
    • Knowledge of lifecycle assessments in accordance with ISO 14044 and 14067.
    • Familiar with the LCA tools (e.g. Umberto, GaBi, openLCA, SimaPro and, etc.).
    • Knowledge of ESG frameworks (SASB, GRI, TCFD, TNFD) and regulatory requirements related to ESG is a PLUS.
