Job Purpose:

1. Plan, organize, and continuous improvement initiatives in the operation and maintenance of the utilities, and facilities including the HVAC system, EMS-BMS system, Purified water system, and PFI/PS system.

2. Maintain the electrical system, and emergency power system to ensure the power factor is within regulatory requirements, the emergency power system loading and reliability, The high tension system- annual maintenance and ensure the daily contracted capacity do not exceed its limit.

3. Collaborate with other stakeholders on improving the equipment reliability, annual qualification, and flexibility, which will enable the equipment to manufacture products of different dosage forms or to use alternative new materials and components.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support the Engineering manager to streamline workflow and continuous improvement of the utilities and facilities management, including CMMS implementation.

2. In the absence of an EHS manager, to support the permits and authorities’ inspection, where necessary. This scope of work shall be in the range of 20% of this role. Only during the absence or annual leave of the EHS Manager.

3. Achieve competencies in the HVAC system- EMS/BMS and electrical supply system, including energy conservation.

4. Support the Engineering Manager in the implementation of minor projects, such as a second set of air compressors and steam boilers.

5. Support the Engineering Manager in contractors’ management.

6. Support the Engineering Manager in preparing the budget for utilities, repair and maintenance, calibration, and spare parts inventory control.

7. Ability to prepare, create, review and maintain cGMP documentation related to EN/Mfg department.

8. Must be a team player and ability to work with EN Engineers and staff from other departments. Essentially a good coordinator and communicator.

9. Must be able to develop continuous improvement initiatives in the dept.

10. Ability to delegate work to Senior Engineer.
