JR50810 Test Engineering Director

Directs and coordinates engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices. Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and phases of test operations. Coordinates operational, functional and performance phases of tests. Analyzes and interprets test data. Prepares technical reports of for use by engineering personnel. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

As a Test Engineering Director, you will be responsible for the achievement of business objectives for Test Engineering department. You will be responsible for ensuring legal, fiscal, safety and ethical compliance with regulatory requirements. You will formulate engineering strategies and work with various department to execute projects to drive safety, quality, cost, cycle time, yield, scalability, automation, workstation utilization improvement, technology and manufacturing efficiency. You will also collaborate to develop and execute strategic plans in order to make sound business decisions. Your role will require you to develop and manage organizational capability: plan and manage organizational resources, communicate job expectations / changes, manage employee performance, and promote teamwork. Your job scope will cover not only site engineering but also network related support and collaboration. Responsibilities and Tasks Responsibilities include, but not limited to the followings: Establish Test Engineering performance metrics and successful indicator, and build process to ensure the entire team on the right tract to target Participate in global, site and department strategy planning Define Test Engineering long term strategic plan which include new product roadmap, new test strategy, innovation, yield improvement, better quality control, cost reduction and bring site to BIC Develop leadership and talent to ensure a successful pipeline Retain and reward talent and effectively deploy them to maximize every individuals potential. To be the role model that values and instills a strong company culture, must place emphasis on strategic management of group morale, and develop collaborative and integrated atmosphere, and creates an environment considered a workplace of choice. Respond to internal and external customers issues with excellence in customer service. Collaborate with backend manufacturing central team, sister sites and external groups to support Microns overall needs and objectives. Adhere to all safety requirements and promote a safety workplace for every team members and contractors. Instill a continuous improvement culture and focus on labor productivity improvement
