Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience programming in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing Web apps (e.g., front-end or back-end) and/or developer tools.
• Experience working with System on a Chip (SoC) partners to bring up devices and assure platform quality.
• Experience working with developers/partners on debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Experience in building Android applications or Android platform components.
• Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) and smart home platforms.
  
  

About The Job

In this role, you will help developers deliver the best smart home experience for their users and create the proof-of-concept partner tools together with Software Engineering team to streamline the development process for developers.

Responsibilities

• Build samples and documentation to support partner integrations with Nest and Google assistant.
• Manage escalations of technical issues from account managers and support, and partner with Software Engineering teams to resolve bugs and integration issues.
• Gather and compile partner feedback and work with team leads to come up with a proposal or a solution. Speak at developer events and partner summits.
• Understand Home Automation developer use-cases and assist partners in building experiences. Travel to meet with current and new partners to assist in the roll-out of new product features and ensure readiness for new releases as needed.
