Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Changhua for a Sustainability Specialist to support the sustainability initiatives of Yu Yuang Textile Co., Ltd. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the implementation of sustainable practices, policies, and procedures across our products, processes, and services. The Sustainability Specialist will conduct research to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in our sustainability practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage sustainability projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, decarbonization programs or related fields
• Strong knowledge of sustainable practices, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage sustainability projects and initiatives, including sustainability assessments, water usage & GHG emission analysis
• Familiar with ISO14064, ISO 14067, ZDHC, GRS, Bluesign, Oeko-Tex
• Familiar with Higg FEM assessment tool (Higg Facility tool-Sustainable Apparel Coalition)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in teams and across functions
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues
• Fluent in English
