Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all the inbound and outbound process within 4 walls including but not limited to all the SAP RF process on GR planning, ABC Put-away management, materials transfer among locations, physical counting, Delivery orders and Shipment creating together with Customer return orders handling.
  • Communicate with forwarders & local truckers and Customs Brokerage on the cargoes import and export, arrival / deliver to customer; loading/unloading cargo, handling cargo irregularity including complaints handling and damage cargo claims.
  • Manage all Customers dedicated Customers special Label requirements on work on design and implementation on inner and outer box of TE products.
  • Manage for continuous improvement program, ISO9001, E.H.S. in warehousing and inventory management together shipping supplies material order and management (cartons / wrapping film / pallets etc)
  • Manage and improve facility maintenance, Operation equipment maintenance program (PIT, Wrapping machines).
  • Manage with 3rd party logistics for their logistics service and keep proper record in good order on temporary storage if any.
  • Manage daily and monthly DCMS management system and its reporting
  • Arrange and supervise all on-site Logistics coordinators on their workload to meet daily business requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Logistics or Business preferred
  • Solid Warehouse operation experience with supervisor level in 3 years
  • Stacker (forklift) license with 1 to 2- year experience.
  • Successfully supervised line workers in warehouses or plants to achieve different logistics needs.
  • Able to work independently, overtime may require when the business needed.
  • Able to endure non-air-conditioning working place in summer time.
  • Integrity, innovative, well communicated and highly team work and accountability for continuous improvement,
  • Hand-on capability to supervise around a team of 8-10 workers.
  • Able to plan, manage and multi-tasking.
  • Active, diligence, hard-working and carefulness.
  • Has experience in ERP system on Logistics operation, SAP system operation preferable.
  • English proficiency and Chinese & English typing well
