The role is required to understand many APO/SAP screens to carry out transactions. APO/SAP is a complex system, and the data is technical This role will be responsible for ensuring each work center (e.g., production - both on site and third-party operators, laboratories, QC, warehouse, and shipping) can meet the MPS and drive the resolution of any constraints. Close working relationships are required both on and off site including other Elanco Plant sites and Contract Manufacturers to manage complex supply chains. This role also needs to support TS/MS team in facilitating site manufacture technologies and new product introduction process as project team member. Work with alliance partners to conduct multifunctional Joint Process Teams to build and develop relationships. Ensure OSSCE processes are in place for assigned products, monitored and appropriate actions taken and implemented in accordance with Class A principles. Have a high level of ownership for Inventory Management of raw material and semi-finished goods focusing on setting inventory targets and minimizing losses. Expected to manage and/or represent the Site/Team on key supply chain projects. Promote Continuous Improvement projects, especially for cost reduction project. Facilitating/Support TS/MS team for Chungli Site in Manufacturing technology project, Qualification of sourcing materials and new product introduction procedures as a Project Team member to coordinating the Commercial team, Production line and Quality team and facilitating TS/MS project leader for the reporting. Capable of handling external and internal communicating and work out workarounds regarding quality issues, process and product specification understanding, and Regulatory affairs.Functions, Duties, Tasks:

• Operating specific supply chain business processes at a Global level, providing visibility, integrating proposed changes and resolving issues
• Conducting supply chain processes within a manufacturing Network which includes confirming validity of near-term demand forecast, developing product family forecasts and passing dependent demands to all impacted sites via SAP
• Develop plant site capacity plan that based on forecast to ensure the capacity meet affiliate request
• Join monthly S&OP meeting to present production schedule status and make sure capacity plan can meet rolling forecast
• Executing Master Scheduling, Shop Floor Control, Material Requirements Planning and/or Purchasing Processes to achieve safety, quality, service and financial performance at a manufacturing site
• Handle import custom of raw material to make sure the arrive is on time for production schedule
• Serving as the link between Elanco Affiliates / Trading Companies and the sites in a Customer Service role to maintain the highest possible standard of customer service
• Working with a team focused on completion of a specific, strategic supply chain project using world-class tools and processes
• Serving as an integrator of material master data between a manufacturing site, the business unit and the sales and marketing affiliate.
• Participate in a global or site product launch team for new products. Survey new vendor for new products to ensure the new raw material are qualified by internal and external regulation.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Biochemical science/Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years ‘experience in a supply chain role
• Experience in a multinational company environment
• Ability to take part in global projects and show high performance
• Good analytical skills. Microsoft Office Applications, SAP R/3
• Good knowledge of Customs Regulations
• Manages and implements the result driven projects.
• Ability to drive cross-functional relations with the other departments.
• Basic Statistical analytical and reporting skills are a plus.
