Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing in management of external manufacturing / outsourcing business.
• Drives continuous cost improvement to improve gross margin.
• Develop negotiation strategies, benchmarking and secure profitable deals.
• Contract negotiation management.
• Determines and develops appropriate sources of supply and maintains contact with suppliers / OSATs and stay current with trends, technologies, products and services within Semiconductor industry
• Management of unique materials on excess / raw material buy back and performs monthly tracking.
• Management of suppliers’/OSATs’ performance to assure best quality at best value.
• Business travel to suppliers’ / OSATs’ site is expected.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related specialization.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing suppliers, contract negotiation and driving cost improvement strategies within Semiconductor industry.
• Candidates with regional sourcing experience in Asia Pacific will have added advantage.
• Possess well-rounded knowledge in strategic sourcing, supply chain, semiconductor manufacturing and operational procurement.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills required for effective collaboration various stakeholders within the Organization and with Skyworks suppliers/OSATs.
• Result oriented with strong business acumen.
• Able to travel for business purposes.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin for ease of communication with regional suppliers.
• Good in computer literacy.
