Responsibilities

As a staff product testing engineer, you will be responsible for driving towards world class factory operations with multiple factories. This role will cover sustaining operations, new product introductions, release of new test solutions with optimal efficiency. You will also drive for test engineering excellence with the tools of automation, identifying and/or developing new testing approach and working closely with both our suppliers and our design engineering teams. More than that, you must be able to monitor the performance of OSATs and provide innovative ideas for improvements.

Activities Include

• Ensures testing is building product in conformance to current engineering and quality specification
• Reviews the design of the module and functional specification for design-for-testability
• Working with OSATs - Monitors costs, manpower efficiency, machine capability, test utilization, etc. and recommend as appropriate revisions in testing methods
• Leads continuous improvement efforts in the areas of Test-time Reduction, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Productivity
• Leads the integration of new designs into manufacturing and testing
• Directs cross team activities to address test efficiency and quality challenges
• Supports Business Unit, Operations, Sales, and QA
• Testing lead inside the outsourced manufacturing environment. Trains and works with CMs, customer & supplier to analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes with short-term and long-term solutions
• Drives for ongoing quality and yield improvement program at OSATs
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering, physics or related discipline.
• Must familiar with Agilent 93K platform. Catalyst is a plus.
• 8+ years’ experience in product testing and good at microelectronic circuit analysis
• Experience and knowledge in mixed signal testing is an advantage
• Strong cross functional leadership able to influence across organizations
• Ability to multi-task effectively, self-motivated, positive attitude and a cooperative, team-based approach to solving problems
• Travel to supplier sites for new product introduction support
• Familiar with data analysis tools such as Data Power or data Conductor
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing process or device physics is a plus
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
