Job Summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Web Application Developer who has outstanding design and coding skills, and a strong understanding of how to create web applications. Candidates must be strong in coding skills, logic, and attention to details. As an application developer, you will play an integral role in working with cross departments to define the enhancement requirements for the existing applications, and work with team to improve the tools.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Good experience on building Graphical UI, Product Configurator, approval process
• Self-directed, motivated contributor, able to design and execute the roadmap rapidly and iteratively
• Architect systems that support reuse and build libraries of components with documentation
• Develop front-ends for responsive mobile and web applications
• Stay current with trends in the industry and identify technical innovations
• Identify solutions to system performance and usability issues

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in computer science or a related field or commensurate experience
• 5+ years advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and React.js preferred
• 3+ years working with / integrating RESTful API’s and building Multiple Page applications preferred
• Experience with PHP framework like Laravel or Symfony (or similar, e.g. C#, VB, Java)
• Experience with ASP.NET
• Experience with SQL (MS SQL, MySQL)
• Experience with web server such as Apache, Nginx and IIS
• Experience with server shell scripting such as BASH/Tkl
• Knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Experience with mobile development
• Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
• Knowledge of server technologies, ColdFusion is a huge plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
• Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
