Job Summary:

The (Sr.) Software Product Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to systems management software solutions and working closely with product management, engineering, validation, sales, FAE/TS and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction, schedule and quality are met. The (Sr.) SW PE can perform debug/support/write high level specs/PoC/Prototype/technical papers/video creation type of technical activities. The job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Understand and analyze customer requirements, issues, industry specs and BMC features in the market

* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and communicate solutions for customers to achieve targeted business goals

* Handle BMC feature specifications and its derived validation documents

* Manage BMC feature development schedule and issue solving progress to meet company’s objectives

* Perform integrated testing and verify quality of BMC software solutions

* Handle high quality product collateral including but not limited to white papers, social media, video and presentations

* Develop training material for customer and internal trainings as required

* Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers and drive resolution to software/firmware/hardware issues to ensure customer satisfaction

Suggest and plan improvements to product, solution and process

Qualifications:

* BS or higher degree in EE-related, CS or CE

* 3+ years of experience in computer server products

* Fluent English communication and presentation skills

* Experience in developing technical specification of systems management software solutions

* Experience in technical support service to customer

* Experience in cross-functional team collaboration

* Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team member

Ability to work well collaboratively in cross-functional teams
