Job Summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking an Sr. Export Control Specialist. The Sr. Export Specialist is responsible in assisting the GTC Team in tasks that support day to day imports and export of the business in APAC regions. The ideal candidate will also participate in other import/export trade compliance program and process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

- Apply working knowledge of laws and regulations

- Provide guidance to internal and external customers regarding the import and export of products

- Assist in providing export licensing and TAA guidance and assistance to facilitate international marketing, proposal, and contract activity

- Coordinate with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to manage shipment seizures, inquires, or investigations

- Organize and provide annual compliance training and maintain training records

- Identify gaps with export compliance manual and provide recommendations to Supervisor

Qualifications

- BS or BA degree in logistics or compliance is highly desired

- 5 years’ experience in import and export global trade compliance preferred

- Knowledgeable of global trade regulations, export administration regulations, anti-boycott regulations, sanctions administered by the office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and customs regulations.

- Familiar with ECCN and HTS codes

- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

- Proficient with Microsoft office and data entry
