Your JobYou will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of firmware solutions for advanced optical transceiver modules. Your expertise in embedded systems will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the optimal performance of our products. This position requires technical skills to program ARM base MCU for optical transceivers. Your expertise in firmware development and understanding of optical communication protocols will enable you to drive innovation, optimize performance, and ensure the successful integration of firmware in advanced optical transceiver modules.Our TeamWe are seeking a skilled Optical Transceiver Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware for optical transceiver modules under guidance of Sr. firmware supervisor. 2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, optical designers, testing team. 3. Collaborate with verification and validation teams to execute comprehensive firmware testing, including functional testing, performance testing, and interoperability testing. 4. Delivered firmware on schedule and meets project milestones. 5. Generate comprehensive technical documentation of firmware development flow.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. Experience in firmware development for optical transceivers or related embedded systems is preferred. 3. Familiarity with C/C++ programming and experience with embedded firmware development tools, such as Keil C. 4. Familiarity with microcontrollers in embedded systems, as well as experience with firmware-hardware integration and debugging. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex firmware issues. 6. Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, and program firmware.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Firmware Development: Experienced in firmware programing for embedded systems, including proficiency in C/C++. 2. Embedded Systems: Solid understanding of embedded systems, including 8051 base and ARM base microcontrollers, and integration of firmware and hardware components. 3. Firmware Testing and Debugging: Executing firmware test plans, include functional testing, performance testing, and firmware debug 4. Documentation and Communication: Document firmware designs and specifications, effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 5. Industry Awareness: Experience of CMIS compliant programing for optical transceiver is plus.
