Responsibilities

• Develop new features using Python/FastAPI.
• Implement functional logic for EdTech products.
• Refactor the codebase and elevate code quality continually.
• Streamline the automation processes in development and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with different teams, including engineers, designers, and PMs.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience in Unit Testing and Integration Testing.
• Experience in cloud platform services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in one of the backend frameworks: Python/FastAPI, Golang/Gin, or Node.js/Express.
• Proficiency in Git and version control
• Proficiency in containerization technologies, i.e., Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with backend code structure such as MVC or Clean Architecture.
• Familiar with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in vector databases (chroma or weaviate).
• Experience in Typescript and React.
• Experience in database performance tuning.
• Familiar with network knowledge such as Nginx, HTTPS, or TCP/UDP.
• Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Understand Distributed Systems, Performance Tuning, massive Concurrency Handling, and Caching Mechanisms.
