Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) sector is focus and strengthens collaboration with our suppliers, to secure suppliers meet ASML demand, both in times of ambiguity and in times of steep ramp-ups. S&P works closely with BL Business Lines, D&E development & engineering, P&D Planning & Delivery, Factories, CS Customer Support to deliver output to ASML customers

We are looking for an analytical person with strong time- and priority management skills as our new Supplier Operations Intern (SOI) As an SOI, your main focus is to support a seamless requisition to pay process to secure and assure material availability to the factories and the field at the right cost.

This particular position needs an affinity with Cost analysis, translating data into information and analytical execution. You will validate the correctness of supplier quotations.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master diploma and/or extensive past experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Procurement

Proactively support the requisition to pay process, master data maintenance and process standardization.

Sourcing

Support procurement team by commercial analysis (e.g. market investigation/tender support/tender execution) and support the creation and implementation of supplier / category strategies together with buyers and account leads.

Information and Business Advice

Proactively manage SPFT updates, creates and manages account plans independently for non critical accounts.

Operational Excellence

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in department

Context of the position

Supplier Operations, a department of Sourcing & Procurement, represents ASML’s operational logistics & commercial interface to its supply base and is responsible for material availability for ASML’s factories and field. In today’s complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers.

The department must handle the increased complexity of ASML’s systems while reducing cost of ownership for customers. To do this, S&P professionals work with suppliers to continuously reduce cycle time for components, modules and assemblies, increasing supply chain flexibility and create customer value.
