Job Description

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software and firmware engineers, providing guidance and support in product development and execution.
• Define and implement the software and firmware strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and product roadmap.
• Oversee the entire software/firmware development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and maintenance, ensuring high-quality deliverable.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product enhancement.
• Drive innovation and technological advancement within the software/firmware domain, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Develop and maintain robust processes and standards for software/firmware development, testing, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in software/firmware development
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software and firmware development, preferably within the IPC, Server or Switch industry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with at least [number] years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.) and experience with embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, software-defined networking, and switch architectures.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
