Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Android software development with Java language.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in designing scalable systems.
• Experience in Android UI development.
• Experience working with Product Managers and User Experience.

In this role, you’ll help lead a team to build user-facing products that provide the best user experience on Pixel phones. You will work with a team of Product Managers and User Experience Designers to define, ideate, prototype, develop, test, and iterate the software products while ensuring software quality through rigid software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications for Pixel phones or Android platform.
• Be involved in the whole life cycle of the software development, from collecting requirements, iterating on design, to implementation and testing.
• Collaborate closely with remote and local teams to develop features that integrate well with Google products.
