Position:

NHOA Energy designs and delivers turn-key energy storage systems to transform solar or wind farms into sustainable and available 24/7 energy sources. Pioneer of microgrids with renewables and green storage systems, today NHOA is among the top 5 storage system integrators worldwide thanks to more than 15 years of experience.

NHOA Taiwan’ team is the platform through which NHOA Energy originates, executes, and services world-class stationary storage projects in Taiwan and Asia.

Reporting directly to the Head of Service, you will perform and oversee the O&M activities with a truly customer centric and results driven approach supporting our key costumer in the region.

Task and Duties:
  • Perform the required scheduled preventive maintenance and the corrective maintenance activities on site. In accordance with the internal and external regulations, relevant standards, and codes of practice.
  • Responsible for documenting all work (accurate and up to date) carried out in relation to preventative and corrective maintenance, remediation, repairs, performance, in accordance with company/customer guidelines.
  • Supervise and monitor BESS sites to guarantee the full operation of the systems and to maximize their performances.
  • Applicant should be able to read and understand drawings of electrical controls for industrial automation, switchgear control and protection, involvement with medium voltage equipment and networks schematics. Especially single-line, three-line, fire safety systems, and communication diagrams.
  • Participation in training courses on specialized topics, locally or overseas as required.
  • Support the commissioning team on-site (at the beginning of the projects)
  • Remote and on-site support to the customer in terms of quick response in case of failure/fault on any components/assets to restore system functionalities in the shortest time possible.
  • Answer via e-mail and/or phone to any technical inquiries escalated by the Client.
  • Flexibility to be available on call when required on occasion.
  • Perform fast troubleshooting activities through plant HMI, data analysis, on site intervention.
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of the Service processes and procedures by providing feedback "from the field".

  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the latest Taiwanese Standards relating to Battery Energy Storage System.
Requirements:

Your Background:
  • Advanced certificate in subjects like (electrical / mechanical / electronic or similar) or more than a five years’ working experience as electrical tester or maintainer.
  • Previous experience in PLC testing, programming, and coding (or at least basic knowledge)
  • Language: English – professional level
Your Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, as well as time management.
  • Qualified Electrician – preferred.
  • Fast learning (also “training on-the-job”) on the functionality and critical issues of a product/system.
  • Strong interest in growing by testing himself/herself within a competitive reality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills/Goal-oriented approach
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in a team with a proactive mindset and motivation.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and HMI’s and Scada Systems
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

You will be based in Taipei, with availability to mid-long term periods on site (Heping district/Suao/LinYuan and any other district in Taiwan or China where it is needed the presence of the Service Team)
