About The Job

It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while persuing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will assume technical leadership responsibilities for a group of projects and product development initiatives, dealing with internal and external stakeholders. You are expected to contribute to solution of more complex, novel and non-recurring problems, and to provide leadership on initiatives to significantly improve existing processes/methods. Further, you will be a key technical contributor to company level decisions that have a significant impact on the final product and the test engineering process. The Senior Engineer is expected to devote a certain time to coaching and mentoring less experienced members of the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical oversight of all local ATE solution development projects
    • Specifications development
    • Contribution to DUT hardware development
    • Program development
    • Collaboration with R&D teams from Norway and Finland
  • Issue resolution
    • Contribute to expedient resolution of ATE related challenges in development and operations
  • Primary responsibility for continuous improvement programs related to the test development process
    • General test methodologies and software tools
    • Hardware(tester) platform selection process
    • OSAT flow including solution deployment and approval
Qualifications And Skills
  • BS or MS within Electronics & Electrical, Software Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in RF or SOC verification / production on ATE
  • Preferably experience with LTX-Credence Unison OS (D10/Diamond X)
  • Programming experience with C++ & XML is a strong plus
  • Knowledge in key wireless technologies, including cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC is also a plus
