• Testing and evaluating SW, for both internal and ODM/OEM, e.g., HLK testing, Jump Start, Stress tests and OEM-specific verification.
• Preparing release SW with the desired components and configuration (building installers, singing drivers) and performing integration verification, publishing drivers to WU, etc.
• ODM/OEM communication to ensure the release is progressing smoothly and meets customer’s expectation
• Providing first-line support to OEM/ODM to clarify and reproduce issues reported by ODM/OEM
• Creating, reviewing, and maintaining test plans and test cases
• Working closely with product team to collaborate and communicate issue-related and test-related information
  

Minimum qualifications:

• Has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Has good written and good verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Has 4 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
• Has 2 years of experience providing technical leadership (e.g., test, release, etc.).
• Has the ability to independently lead a project, including task planning and code reviews, and working with developers.
• Can develop effective test strategies and test plans using management tools, e.g., Polarion or Testrail.
• Has experience with version control tools (e.g., git, SVN)
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Is familiar with Agile development
• Has experience in coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and execute testing accordingly.
• Has experience in writing readable tests in the pytest framework
• Has knowledge of the Windows architecture and common command line tools.
• Is experienced in CI/CD flow and its tool, e.g., Docker, GitHub, or Jenkins.
• Has experience working with ODMs/OEMs in the PC industry
