About The Job

Automated electrical test, characterized by execution speed and accuracy, constitutes a pillar of semiconductor manufacturing. Our SE-Asia-based test program development team continues to push the boundaries for industry excellence and is presently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to assist our ongoing pivot to a new, ground-breaking technology development platform.

You possess a strong skill set and experience in key principles of software creation and – management, and you are looking for new ways to employ those competencies, from strategy to deployment, in a high-paced, innovation-oriented environment.

The role involves a significant level of interaction with Europe-based, cross-discipline counterparts, as well as related traveling.

Key Responsibilities

Framework, software architecture

• Hardware platform abstraction
• Development of common coding styles
• Source control and multi-developer collaboration platforms
  
  

Methodologies for high efficiency program execution

• Algorithms, data structures
• Advanced multi-threading and CPU scheduling for efficient multi-core execution
  
  

Automation

• Scripting
• Code generation
• Version control
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or related field
• 7 to 10 years working experience with Software Development
• Solid knowledge and hands on experience in Python, C++ and XML
• Cross-OS platform software development experience
• Proficient in version control and bug tracking tools such as Git, BitBucket
• Background knowledge from the semiconductor testing process and ATE platform programming is a plus, but not a requisite
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
