Job Responsibilities

• The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Spares and Service product lines in managing Revenue and Margin, in additional to supporting execution of key business initiatives. To achieve that, you will work with internal business partners at all levels and across functional groups & countries at Lam. This role has high visibility with CSBG Executive Management and offers the opportunity to get involved in challenging and rewarding projects.
  

Other Job Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting , reporting, and operational metrics tracking in support of QxR, Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and Balance Sheet Review (BSR) cycles.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision making.
• Work closely with Regional Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization – use of Business Objects, Power BI or Access to improve operational efficiency.
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Partner with Business Operations to identify and drive CSBG Profitability Improvement Initiatives.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Support Internal Audit and SOX requests, as needed
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable; otherwise demonstratable strong systems skills.
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Curious, ask questions, with continuous learning and improvement mindset.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience working in finance and accounting; previous experience within manufacturing a plus.
