We are seeking for a talent who will join HyperX team to create audio product such as Headphones, Microphones for Gaming market. Work with internal design team and cooperate with external suppliers to develop the new product design through into mass production, to lead and create more fantastic product to the world.

Responsibilities

• Designs engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
• Develops and implements parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of Acoustic Engineering specifications and requirements.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution in order to fulfill acoustic-target-curve and product design.
• Be a player in project team of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for Audio Products.
• Accountable for Acoustic components development, measurement, verification and analysis.
• Work on acoustic system design and acoustic tuning of headphone and loudspeaker development.
• Work with acoustic related apparatus and equipment: Soundcheck, audio precision, test and setup in anechoic chamber or laboratory, use data and experiment result to do the talk.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
  
  

Education And Experience Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8 year+ experience in audio industrial, acoustic tuning on Headphone/Microphone or Loudspeaker.
• Experience in microphone design for reduction of noise and improve the directivity
• Experience for designing the component or structure of loudspeaker.
• Product development experience with audio DSP application(EQ/Filtering).
• Exploring new technologies for application in Headphone/Microphone/Audio related product.
  
  

Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge in system concepts and failure analysis method.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
• Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
• Experience in using 3-quest protocol for mic performance assessment. (would be plus)
• MATLAB for post-processing of data analysis (will be plus)
• Psychoacoustics: understanding in main parameters and corresponding subjective listening experiments (will be plus)
